7-inch panel and three subwoofers
The Xiaomi Mi Ai Touchscreen Speaker Pro 8 is an eight-inch intelligent speaker, one more than Google’s Nest Hub, for example. The design is quite similar to that of this last speaker, with a rather striking base finished in fabric, and with some rather curved lines.
No details have been given about its resolution, but about the oleophobic coating of the panel, which should translate, on paper, that the speaker does not end up full of fingerprints after our interaction with it. Similarly, Xiaomi claims to have laminated the screen to avoid reflections as much as possible.
The most interesting point of this intelligent loudspeaker is the bet on audio (as logic dictates). We are in front of three subwoofers, with a respective size of 50.8 millimeters and neodymium magnets inside. In the same way, Xiaomi announces a collaboration with DTS for the adjustment of the same loudspeakers.
This loudspeaker has a camera compatible with video calls, which can be sent to Xiaomi’s own televisions.
