The reception is good, so there is no frequency that is missed. It also makes a loud noise.
If the reception is good, you worry about battery consumption, but it only consumes about 26mA. It makes a loud noise for 3 days in a row with a rechargeable battery (JAPAN eneloop) of about 1900mA. It keeps making a loud noise until the voltage drops to 0.85 volts. Other DSP radios turn off at 1.1 volts, but this radio is special. I still use a germanium transistor radio from 70 years ago, and even that analog radio stops when the voltage drops to 0.85 volts. I recommend the XHDATA “D-220” radio that was released a few months ago. Super recommend it.
