It's still before installation, but I found the code and ordered it.
I want to install it when it comes.
This router isn't heavy, and the only not so good thing for me is that the antenna's are fake. Those seem to look really nice in the pictures, but in reality, it is just unibody. Another thing that isn't really a big thing for me but I would prefer, is for the design to be wall-mountable. This doesn't have holes dedicated for mounting...it's more of a desktop device.
I had a chance to play plagiarism, I translated it. The signal is quite normal, the ale is not so strong, it's like to advertise. In a private booth, you don't have a whistle...
Amazing wifi-7 spec router for less than US$50!!! For your concern, few pointers for you below!
1. Direct Web UI will display in Chinese ONLY. ( download MiApp to your phone if you want English )
2. This is Chinese-spec Wifi7, there is NO 6Ghz band. (6Ghz is not open to public in China) Also, to be fair, not all Wifi7 Router come with 6Ghz, such as Tplink Archer BE3600 which also 2x of the cost!!!
3. The UI meant for Casual user, coming from Ubiquiti, I found there isn't much setting I can tweak or managed. Its little too simple for my taste, but perfect for most.
4. The signal range is on par to my Tplink AX5000. Don't expect it can do any miracle. However, the ping response "appears" to be faster, it is within 3 ms discrepancy.
5. No idea max devices it can handle at once. However, I have Google Home set up with 16+ devices on constant connection without issue.
